Best with: excellent with game and white meats.
Information: this wine is obtained from "Barbera d'Alba D.O.C."-grapes after a one month long ageing in little oak barrels, called "barriques", which give a slightly vanilla aroma to Barbera.

DOLCETTO DIANO "SORI" - "SUPERIORE"
Grapes: Dolcetto
Production area: in the commune of Diano d'Alba
Colour: ruby
Bouquet: persistent, winey and fruity
Taste: dry, soft and harmonious.
Minimum alcoholic content: 12,5% vol.
Serving temperature: 16-18 °C.
Best with: a perfect choice with white and red meats, first courses and seasoned and spicy cheeses.
Information: the Piedmontese word "Sori" means the vineyards enjoying the best exposure to the sun, which is the main condition for good ripening of the grapes.
These vineyards produce a wine with unique organoleptic characteristics. Every year, following an old rural tradition, will be put away a restricted number of bottles of Dolcetto Diano. After one year ageing it becomes "Superiore".

"FOSCO" DOLCETTO DI DIANO D'ALBA

Production area: nearby the town of Alba
Colour: ruby
Bouquet: winey, persistent and fruity
Taste: full-bodied, dry and slightly bitterish
Minimum alcoholic content: 12% vol.
Serving temperature: 18-20 °C.
Best with: good with both white and red meats, pasta, in particular filled pasta, and also with cheese
Information: this wine is obtained from a careful selection of grapes. The grapes ripen thanks to the sun and to a short pruning, and are softly pressed in the cellar.
A traditional method of fermentation gives this wine a unique bouquet and taste, while nature and time-passing, without man intervention, complete this fantastic work.
Some remains of vinification which you may find at the bottom of the bottles, prove that this is a high-quality product.
